the mountain in a nutshell.

Have you ever thought to yourself, "I wonder what it would feel like to ski into the St. Lawrence River?" No? Well too bad because the builders of Le Massif de Charlevoix certainly wanted to give visitors as close to that sensation as possible. In all seriousness, the views of the river are what sets Le Massif apart as skiers can gaze 24km across Eastern Canada's vein to the Atlantic during their entire descent. And what a descent it is!

With 770 metres (2,526 ft.) of vertical (the highest of the Eastern Canada resorts), Le Massif will have you second guessing if you're in the Rockies or not. But there is nothing to remind you that you're in Québec better than what the french like to call "base durcie et rapide". Yes, the hard and fast base paired with the steep pitch will send you racing down the slopes. We won't recommend you try to hit a new top speed here, but all we can say is this might be the mountain to do it.
