the mountain in a nutshell.

Ah Montana, home of wide-open spaces, Yellowstone (but not really the actual Yellowstone) and some of the best mountain terrain America has to offer. Just an hour drive from Yellowstone National Park you’ll find Big Sky. Big Sky has some of the most lift served terrain this side of the Canada border so there’s not much chance you’ll get bored here. Lone Mountain hosts some seriously gnarly skiing and with some of the least variation in its annual snowfall, Big Sky is a safe bet to get great turns on a ski vacation. If something a little mellower is more your speed, take the Ramcharger chair up. If the conditions are awful at least there’s a bubble to protect you and heated seats (!) to keep those bums toasty! So saddle up your horse, throw on your safest cowboy hat and make the trek up to Big Sky.
