the mountain in a nutshell.

Continue down I-70 from Denver through Frisco and you’ll reach Copper Mountain. With 2,500 acres of skiable terrain serviced by 24 lifts, towering over 12,000’ at its peak and with 140 marked trails Copper has something for everybody. Parent of three youngsters looking to ignite the spark of a lifetime of ski obsession? Take those kids to the west side where easily accessible greens will get them hooked.

Perhaps you’re at the opposite end of the spectrum? Oh, you’re a pro freestyle skier? Copper has one of only four Olympic sized superpipes in North America and a competition scale slopestyle course. Copper is so good their head groomer was brought out for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games to build their superpipe. Copper also hosts a US Ski Team Speed Centre where the fastest people on two boards can train to compete on the world stage. Even if you’re not quite* at this caliber there is a great bar and patio right below the superpipe so you can witness how snow-based greatness is born with a cold beer in hand.
