Did someone order 2 massive mountains with a side of a rowdy ski village filled with Aussies? One Whistler Blackcomb special coming right up! 

Let's start with Whistler Mountain. It spans a whopping 4,757 acres of skiable terrain, 1,530 metres (5,020 ft) of vertical, and contains the resorts most luscious powdery bowls in Flute Bowl, Symphony Bowl, and Sun Bowl. One short peak to peak, pant-filling, gondola ride and you've arrived at Whistler's sibling mountain Blackcomb peak. Leaner, but taller Blackcomb Peak is the Luigi to Whistler's Mario, the Bert to its Ernie, you get the picture.  Its 3,414 acres of terrain and 1,609 metres (5,280 ft) of vertical house the famous epic playground of bowls and chutes named Spanky's Ladder. Spanky's Ladder and the Gemstone Bowls after a fresh snowfall are simply a bucket list item on any true skiers list to complete. 

Combine these two giants and you get over 8,000 acres of skiable terrain. It would almost be overkill if it weren't for the simple fact that there can never be enough space to ski. But we commend Whistler's attempt to satisfy this insatiable desire, and are proud that a Canadian Ski Resort wears the crown of largest in North America.
